This bite-sized goodie has a chewy texture due to the rice flour used to create its dough, while its filling is a combination of crushed unsalted peanuts and brown sugar.

People who create this delicacy use either coconut milk or water in their recipe. Afterwards, they take a spoonful of the dough unto their palms and form it into a round shape before filling it in. It is then steamed and placed into a rack to cool down before packing it individually for every person to enjoy and get a taste of the community.

Masi is sold in the heart of Liloan where locals sell it for an average of Php5.00 a piece. The experience is certain to satisfy the palette as the crushed peanuts bring an extra crunch.
