In one of the barangays situated in the Municipality of Badian lay an increasingly famous hiking spot. It is often visited by groups who want to have a good time, by staying the night through camping on the area. Some prefer to simply have a glimpse of the exquisite view before heading back to the mainland.
What makes this site interesting is that it has an easy trail, making it more accessible to majority of its visitors. However, one must be careful when the weather isn’t as good as expected.
Prepare your hiking shoes, wear your lightest jacket with a complementary cap and don’t forget to bring your own bottle of water as you enjoy one of Cebu’s highest peaks.
Before experiencing the beauty of Dalaguete, a registration fee of Php 30 per person will be collected at the Tourist Assistance Center, which is located at the starting point of the trail.
The municipality is also known as the vegetable capital in the Queen City of the South, so one may grab freshly harvested vegetables at their local market.
